This parking lot is a SCAM I parked in a lot at Polk and Hayes owned by Place 2 Park, paid the valet in a red jacket taking money from everyone at the entrance, and later returned to my car to find a violation notice stating I had not payed. It turned out that the "attendant on duty" when I drove in was an impostor covering a sign that said "do not pay impostor on weekends" that had been placed by the lot owner at shoulder height (very easy for anyone to cover over and operate this scam). The notice demanded I send $25 to a p.o. box within 14 days, or else be charged an additional $30.00. If I don't pay, it claims that my license number has been recorded and my vehicle will be towed or immobilized. I called the number on the notice, and spoke with the owner, who quickly became irate, insulting and threatening - admitted that 18 other people had also been scammed that day alone, but that it was not his responsibility. He is aware of the imposters, is profiting by them, and refuses to do anything to protect his customers.
