    Pastel Portrait of a Nine Year Old Girl - A wonderful young girl. A joy to have painted her in pastel. She is very expressive. I had the opportunity to paint this child four different times. Each time, a different pose. A natural model and a personality so spunky and intelligent! What a great Soccer player, as well!

I felt inspired by her red turban and such confidence in her stance and expression. I also have painted this same child subject in oil and again in watercolor.

    Oil Portrait of a Cat Frankie Lynne - Frankie Lynne's Master a loving Husband asked me to paint his Wife's beloved cat Frankie Lynne, I was told the cat was ill and dying. My inspirations were her favorite toys and her beautiful markings. She was like a Queen. I think I captured that by the fancy plush background and her straight forward expression.
